1. **Preparation**: Ensure the work area is clean and dry. Gather all necessary tools and materials, including CPVC pipes, fittings, solvent cement, primer, measuring tape, and cutting tools.

2. **Measure and Cut**: Measure the length of CPVC pipe needed for your installation using a measuring tape. Mark the measurement on the pipe and cut it squarely using a CPVC pipe cutter or hacksaw.

3. **Prepare Pipe and Fittings**: Remove any burrs or rough edges from the cut pipe using a deburring tool or sandpaper. Clean the pipe and fittings with a clean cloth to remove dirt, dust, and grease.

4. **Dry Fit**: Dry fit the CPVC pipe and fittings together to ensure proper alignment and fit. Make any necessary adjustments before proceeding to the solvent cement application.

5. **Apply Primer**: Apply CPVC primer to the outside of the pipe and the inside of the fitting socket using an appropriate brush. Ensure thorough coverage and allow the primer to dry according to manufacturer's instructions.

8. **Pressure Test**: After the cement has cured, perform a pressure test on the installed CPVC system to ensure there are no leaks. Follow industry standards and regulations for pressure testing procedures.

9. **Final Inspection**: Inspect the entire installation for any signs of leaks, improper fittings, or other issues. Make any necessary corrections before covering or concealing the pipes.

10. **Documentation**: Keep detailed records of the installation process, including measurements, materials used, and any inspections or tests performed. This documentation will be valuable for future maintenance and reference.
